Introduction

The Department of Computer Science was established inJuly 2002-2003. The Department of Computer Science encompasses two programs B.Sc. (Computer Science) and M.Sc. (Computer Science). M.Sc. Computer Science is started in 2003-2004. In a brief time frame, the department has established a strong reputation and received widespread recognition for providing modern, high-quality education while also meeting the growing demand for competent personnel in the dynamic Software Industry and IT sector.

The department comprises adequately equipped laboratories. Sufficient laboratory time is allocated to students for optimal use of the computing facilities. Our primary strength lies in our qualified, distinguished, and experienced faculty members, who exhibit a strong enthusiasm for acquiring new technologies and enhancing their skill sets. Faculty members are always ready to guide students beyond regular classroom hours and maintain a controlled environment in the department.

The department not only provides IT professionals, but in addition to regular academics, we instill in our students the principles of discipline, high moral values, competitiveness, and team spirit, resulting in comprehensive personality development.
