| National Service Scheme (NSS) :- |

A dedicated
National Service Scheme (NSS) unit for senior college
students—comprising 200 male and female volunteers—is active
at the college. Students wishing to join the NSS should
submit an application to the Head of the NSS Department. The
Head of the NSS selects the volunteers from the applications
received. The Head of the National Service Scheme and the
Principal hold the absolute authority regarding selection
and may deny admission to the National Service Scheme to any
student without assigning a reason. |

| The
following programs are implemented in the college through
the National Service Scheme: |
| |
- Birth and death
anniversaries of social and political leaders
- National Festivals:
Maharashtra Day, Independence Day, Republic Day
- Social programs: Tree
plantation, blood donation, tobacco-free campaign,
cleanliness drive, 'Beti Bachao Beti Padhao' (Save the
Girl Child, Educate the Girl Child) campaign,
plastic-free campaign, environmental conservation,
various public awareness campaigns, street plays.
- Other national and
international days: International Yoga Day, Kranti Din
(Revolution Day) and Tribal Day, Ozone Day, National
Service Scheme (NSS) Foundation Day, Constitution Day,
World AIDS Day, Youth Day, National Voters' Day, Organ
Donation Day
